This was a gift to a good friend and fellow weaver who kindly came to help me out after surgery. She loves it and is already weaving towels with her gift. When I contacted MIAY to
tell them it was a surprise gift, they made it special by including a note from me. They have nice yarns and are nice folks!

Made four towels with one four-color warp and a single color for each of the towels. The towels are thick—and weigh more an 8/2 or 10/2 cotton towel. I was interested to see how craft fair customers liked them and they loved them. Glad to see more colors.

Easy to work with in both warp and weft. When used for both, makes a thick and thirsty towel.

I really like the yarn. The indigo was almost the same color as the midnight navy which was disappointing because I needed a lighter and a darker blue. There was much more contrast in the sample photos.

  31. Shelley (verified owner)

Soft, nice colors-Graphite, Steel Serpent & Coal. Not as nubby as shown, but fine for me. Good price.

  32. Jamie F. (verified owner)

Great yarn, the slubs hold up to being warped. Bleeds a lot on first wash so be aware!
