New Colors! Hot diggity!
We’re happy to add six new colors to our American Lamb line! From left to right: olive jar, grape juice, granite, delft blue, brownies, and pumpkin.
Granite is slightly darker than our Light Fog which has been discontinued due to issues with it’s dye process.
We think these new colors really help make the American Lamb pallette complete and just in time for the new Mochimochi book – Huge & Huggable.
You can see the entire collection of colors below, and don’t forget that we have some misdyed colors in our wool closeouts!
Stitches EAST-We’ll be vending with our mill ends the 8-10th of November at Stitches East in the convention center in Hartford, Connecticut in booth 210.Stop on by and see some special show-only products and kits that we’ll have on hand. We promise there are some sweet treats in store and some amazing booth knitdowns.
Book Review in Review
A few months ago we reviewed Twinkie Chan’s Crochet Goodies on our blog. We decided to work up one of the patterns from the book using some of our mill ends and knew we had to make the Lemon Coconut Tissue Cozy with some changes to make it an homage to the Portal game series.
While there was some fussing to be done with the original pattern to make it our own, project notes on Ravelry already revealed that many other crocheters ran into an issue making the box.
The box was large, much too large for a normal tissue box. It was easy for a beginner crocheter to adjust the stitch count after an initial attempt to make it.
The best and most fun part of this project? The loopy stitch that you cut for the frosting! We think this is a hilarious gift for any office or guild holiday exchanges you may have coming up.
Look out for a giveaway of our yarn on Susan B. Anderson’s blog!
