Spring is coming!

The weather has been crazy here in Philadelphia – it can’t decide if it’s winter or spring! These socks shout spring time at me like fresh green sprouts emerging from the ground. I’ll be digging through some seed websites later to plan our container garden.

I’m fortunate to know some of the nicest knitters around – Sarah is one of those knitters! She was kind enough to knit this pair of Brigit socks (free pattern by Monkey Toes) out of our new Wayfarer yarn. The pair of socks took less than a skein to finish and Sarah made a few mods listed on her project page. I knew we needed to show off the gorgeous stitch definition this yarn has and Sarah was able to help out with the time crunch.
