The weather has finally turned here in Philadelphia and we have some cozy, cold-weather projects to get started on!

New Free Pattern – Tobnoggan

This week we are proud to release Tobnoggan, a new hat pattern by local designer Katie Vlasov! This pattern uses just one skein of our American Lamb and features some great cables, earflaps, and a giant pompom on top! You can find it on our website or queue it on Ravelry.

Our Shop Local Initiative

You may have noticed the recent price increase in our online store of $1 per skein. Don’t worry! The new price adjustment is the first step in what we are calling our Shop Local Initiative.  We are launching the program in an effort to support local yarn shops throughout the country. It is our hope that the adjusted prices in our online store will encourage you, our valued customers, to support local yarn shops and their online stores. Not only does purchasing your yarn and fiber goods from local stores help your community, but it lets us focus on doing what we do best – making great yarn!

Need to find a shop near you? You can use our shop locator.

(…and remember, if your local shop doesn’t carry our products, just ask them! We have no minimum restriction on orders and registration takes only a few clicks on our website.)

ChenilleCloseouts

New Closeouts!

We have found many chenille and other odd lots of weaving cones and added them to our to closeout sales! They are perfect for fall throw and scarf colors, as well as tons of natural for dyeing yourself! Both cotton and rayon chenille yarns are available. Also listed are some great cotton rayon weaving yarns, Style 5024. This style is a textured yarn with nice upholstery and home decor colors. This is a durable yarn that will last a long time and wear well.

Happy Crafting!
