Happy Easter!

We hope every one has a nice weekend this Easter filled with good friends, family, yarn and chocolate!
I found this delightful Bunny Beanie pattern by Noe Knit and just had to knit it out of the new Baby-Soft line with some glitz added in the ears.

It’s shown here in Baby Blue Eyes with Seed Wrap and Florafil in Yellow Cinquefoil with Metallic Gold. Click on the picture for a close up of how the Seed Wrap looks all knit up!

I did not use the picot cast-on called for in the pattern, instead knit 2 extra rows and your brim will roll on it’s own.

Using a bulky weight in place of the aran weight called for in the pattern makes it a youth sized beanie if knit directly to the pattern. You can easily adjust it down to a baby size by casting on 40 stitches instead of 56. When it comes time to decrease – use the same decreases but don’t fuss about extra stitches on the end. You’ll take care of them in the final round where you knit 2 together all around.
