Winter Sunshine

What better way to chase away winter’s chill than with a skein of American Lamb? Our Curry Powder colorway is a perfect choice for winter projects! The warm and springy wool keeps out the cold and it’s sunny yellow color will brighten even the dreariest days!

Earlier this month I released a sneak peek at a work in progress. This week I’m happy to bring you a new pattern for our American Lamb line of yarns: Winter Sunshine Mitts!

The mitts use only one skein of our American Lamb and knit up in 4-8 hours. They are knit flat and then joined to work seamlessly in the round. One skein will give you enough to make the mitts with a bit of yarn to spare. I personally think they’d look great with Natural in the garter portions contrasted with some Blue Moon or Pink Elephant for the body of the glove. They can even be lengthened about 5 rows in the arm of each mitt if you prefer your gloves longer or want to get the most out of your skein.
